Bring your own course materials, thoughts, ideas, and questions to these sessions, and we’ll talk about some of the popular issues that are ‘bugging’ instructor from time-to-time. Learn how to effectively use Blackboard and other kinds of technology, and understand better how these tools can help enhance the teaching and learning in your courses. These hands-on sessions are open to any faculty member (fulltime or adjunct).

Ideas for discussion:

Ask specific questions about the specific Blackboard tools you’re interested in, and learn how best to integrate their use into your own course.

Learn about other types of technologies and strategies that can enhance your instructional content and activities, to help keep your students engaged and elicit more active learning in your courses.

Explore course redesign options that can help simplify everyday course management tasks, such as grading, tracking student participation, communicating with students, encouraging interaction among students, etc.
